Dave is one half of the writing team behind the self-sufficientish bible and the joint founder of Selfsufficientish.com.

He has a degree in Nutrition and Food Science, a German Techno Band, a pair of cowboy boots and an on and off nicotine addiction.

His interests cover, amongst other things; wild food and foraging, history and pre-history of food plants, international cuisine, home-brewing, allotment growing and creating new food and drink from everyday and unusual ingredients.
